The Crocodile Hunter mistakes some CIA agents for poachers and sets out to stop them from capturing a wily croc which, unbeknownst to him, has swallowed a tracking drone. Aussie adventurer Steve Irwin aka The Crocodile Hunter has avoided the death-roll and nabbed another feisty croc, hoping to save it from poachers. What Steve doesn't know is that the crocodile has innocently swallowed a top secret US satellite beacon, and the poachers are actually American special agents sent to retrieve it. Crikey! In the Outback and through the bush with his wife Terri's ever-present commentary ringing out over the countryside ("That was a close one, Steve!"), the Crocodile Hunter is out to save the gorgeous croc and relocate him. It won't be easy, but if he can handle bird-eating spiders and venomous snakes without getting bitten, gun-wielding agents shouldn't be too much of a problem. The all famous Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, finally makes his own movie. But the plot is simply terrible. There are many parts in the movie that are humorous, but you would have to be a regular "Crocodile Hunter" watcher. It was also hard to tell if the Actors in that movie were trying to act bad so it would be funny…or they just plain stunk. I would see it one time, and that's about it (if even that.) And this is even coming from a die-hard Crocodile Hunter fan. As a fan of the Crocodile Hunter, this movie was pretty cool. It's much like one of his episodes on TV but about two hours longer. From the non-Crocodile Hunter affiliated crowd, this may look a little asinine but keep an open mind and you will enjoy this fun romp. I was watching the credits for the film and noticed a costume designer. I don't think they really needed one since Steve Irwin is always wearing his usual khaki shirt and shorts which doubles as a swimsuit. All in all, this movie is cool for the family, though some of the stuff might be too intense for the kiddies. The mad genius of this cheerily bonkers feature is the integration of a documentary-style safari into an outlandish fiction involving a fancy-pants CIA pursuit of a downed spy satellite, and a shotgun-wielding outback widow.
